Q: Do you do counseling for kids?

A: Yes. Blue Elephant Counseling provides services for children 8 years old and up. Young children have a hard time participating in online services for longer than 30 minutes so adjustments for age, attention span, and ability to participate can be made. Children younger than 8 may be required to have parent/guardian participation. Appropriateness of online services is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Q: Do you offer in-person sessions?

A: No. Blue Elephant Counseling is an online mental health service provider only. We believe online services are as effective as live services. We value the flexibility and reach that online services provide.

Q: Do you take my insurance?

A: Blue Elephant Counseling is In-Network with most major commercial insurance companies as well as Nebraska Medicaid. Please call to inquire about your specific insurance if you have further questions OR call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card to ask about providers and coverage for yourself or family.

 AmBetter, AmeriGroup, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Great Plains, Humana, Medica, Nebraska Total Care, Midlands Choice, United Health Care, Wellcare, Molina, and more.

Blue Elephant Counseling does NOT accept:
